Smartphone users and RB log in problem

Anybody else experiencing problems with staying logged in to RB whilst browsing on your phone?
I'm on iPhone 4 and used to have to re log in very occasionally, but over the last few days RB seems to be logging me out, even if the page is still open and ive set the phone down for 5 mins.
I've cleared cookies and re started the phone but no luck.

It's just happened whilst editing a post. Ill click edit then I'll modify the post and when I click submit I receive a message that I can only modify my own posts, that's because I've been logged out...

And just again whilst posting a new reply.

No such issues here (HTC Desire S on Android 2.3.5). Mine stays logged in even after days.

I suspect that your phones either don't accept cookies or that you don't have the "remember me" checkbox ticked when you log in.

It more than that. I've been using RB on this phone for nearly a year, I would have to re log in maybe once a month but since the weekend it's been every minute or page view.

Might be worth checking the date and time are correct on your iPhone, particularly if you don't have it set to update automatically.

Interesting issue. I don't have an iphone here to test on (of course if someone wishes to send me one for test purposes that'll be super) but am seeing no issues using my Android phone.

I have made a couple of changes to the site over the last few days, none that should effect a logged in user or make any difference to anyone other than a search engine spider.

Let me know how it goes. Do you recall exactly when the issue started to occur??

I don't recall exactly when this started, maybe Thursday or Friday last week.

I've just changed the forum time to GMT, I don't normally bother changing the forum time back and forth and this hasnt been a problem in the past. I seem to have remained logged in for now. I'll update if this has solved the problem after some more time has passed.

Used to happen regular on my iPhone 4 but probably every couple of months, if not more now, and I'm on RB via the phone everyday too.

Never logs out on my iPad 2, maybe it's a connection thing?
