Anyone can make a unique or special paint job that no one else has got in there garage.

...as anyone can paint any Klein black or white and pretend it is the most special out there, because this is SO swimming against the stream, Klein-wise. Salmon, anyone?

In other news, this one is definitely not painted in someone's shed and your suggestion that it might be is just gratuitous. Someone really took their time to make this bike look like that. A professionally applied quality paint job. It's not even about liking it or not, but about something else what Kleins are concerned. It's a weird beard.

Oh, and by the way, what is the difference between this and a Klein that was resprayed in one of the approved colorways of yesteryear? First of all, neither is original. But this one, ugly or not, may be unique. And this makes it special.

Yes, but the ”special” is more of a mockery in this context. Nevermind.

I do like it, but I would like to find out more about it. Maybe someone has a clue. Isn't this why we are here? To help each other with quality information? Or is it just to cheer the same expensive builds continuously?

I would really like to learn where this came from and why it was painted like that.
