Slinger revisited.

Spent some time thinking about the first rebuild and then some free black Syncro stickers came about.....at the same time as a photo of a white set of Revos......
Oddly there are a few white ones about right now.......(historians will call this the White Revo-revolution era).

I have no experiance with these machines, they look very cool but I think I would be to scared to ride it :roll: What are they like to ride and what was the rational behind the design?

whats that stem/bar combo? looks unique.

The forks were made by Greg Fuquay back in mid 90's. He was doing them sus corrected for the Bonty Salsa people.
The stem is a Roo bar by the Trimble tribe.
When you get on the bike the flex is down right scarry. But as soon as you pedal this dissappears and it is actually really rigid vertically.
The system is not a sus design but an energy transfer, the idea being as you push down the frame absorbs a little energy that is then tranferred back into forward motion when pedal pressure is removed.

It does climb well but other than that feels very normal to ride.
