See, I just don't get 'North Shore' at all. Mountain biking, not decking riding. Wierd, but then I am crap and would probably kill myself on it anyway.

The rain forest in BC is fragile, like most ecosystems, and the skinnies and ladder bridges, as well as being fun and challenging, are meant to protect the forest from soil erosion. But believe me, most of the riding you do there is on natural terrain. It's just full of massive roots and nasty rocks.
