Long before HE was a Sir, was a keen roadie.

I believe Sir Jimmy rode at least one Tour of Britain in the 50s and may even have made it as far as the Independent/Pro ranks back in the day. In Louis Theroux's documentary, I recall a shot of him having a spin on an indoor trainer at one point, still using his old Viking road bike from that era.
