Single speed

but in my defence its convienient for getting the mrs into it

she requested a bike to get to work on so i cobbled her a singlespeed from parts lying around the shop while i was there , i knew if i gave her gears she would be one of those people you see riding around town in 1st spinning away

id like to start going to chicksands but i think they insist on a helmet ( which i havnt got ) and sherwood pines . im tempted to enter the 1st round of the nps there in april but itl be my first race so im not too sure , i havnt even watched a race or even been to sherwood pines yet

I've just come back from the Real Ale Wobble where several of us singlespeeded. We were certainly at no disadvantage over the whole 35 mile or so route to those that were geared - and arguably at some real advantage at times.

And I would like to add as a witness.... These people are mad!! I couldnt believe rigid single speed big respect to these mad people!!
