I have read was going to say it must be an early thermoplastic got to canti deserves grafton

strictly speaking you should put Critical Racing on there - but I'm using those on my ARC and only have 1 bikes worth
And I'm not sure I'd ever find a Critical Racing seat post and stem to match the brakes so will probably go Ringle, Cooks and maybe Grafton.

I've also got some Magura's to try on it.

But 1996 was when Shimano introduced new XTR 950 and V brakes. It's probably what you'd have specced back then on such a rare frame. But I don't plan on running XTR cranks so I don't have to go down the 950 gruppo route. But it might be cool to have at least one bike in the collection with V brakes as they were pretty revolutionary at the time.

If you go period but special bikes deserve the best of the 90s like you said ringle cooks grafton critical racing you have some really nice bits stasted around but what ever you do it will be nice they all are
