So I was looking through some old photos and came across some of the most horrible bikes I have put together. Wonder if anyone dares to top it?

(PS couldn't find in the search whether there already was a topic; funny thing the search word 'worst' does not lead to anything at all, apparently a forbidden word on this site?)

My entry: A trek 9000 (rides really really bad! one of the most terrible suspension systems) too big for me, with RST fork that was sh*t, ugly mudguards and a novelty speedometer.
And a mismatched set of wheels

There's some pretty bad examples of "when anodizing goes bad" on here... esp 3DV....

but then I guess that is just personal subjectivity

In the nicest possible way; I think unless the guy who owns the tiger paint Klein joins up, your Trek has won! :)

hmm ... it may have some competition. There's one bike on the forum that even managed to make people sick on their keyboards.

Wow! This looks like MacGyver's bike! It's amazing what that guy can accomplish with a roll of duct tape!
What's in the saddlebags? A massive chain to keep it safe from theft, or a boat anchor to be used as a backup for when the duct-taped brake cables fail? I especially like the pedestrian early warning bell, no doubt used for crown control.

Am I missing something or do I need to keep taking the medication?
I think the trek FS looks good but as has been said before minus the mudguards, and the Proflex looks fantastic!
Different strokes I guess,,,one of the reasons I love retro bikes .
No desire whatsoever to join the trendy crowd, but love making some of them look silly when out on my ancient steeds.."what NO disc brakes!"
But then again I do know how to ride and am not afraid to get them dirty or scratched,,,
