Re:

That's a '91 as it has round seat and chain stays. I have a '92 which has the squarer profile chain/seat stays. Looks to be in lovely condition though.. Scott really did excellent paint schemes BITD

Hi there, just read this thread, I also have this exact bike (91 Scott pro only). Thinking of selling now, but how much do you think it's worth? eBay the best place to sell? Hope it's ok to message you direct! Cheers, mike

Just bought a 95 Scott Motion frame and bits to build up for my daughter. Looks a bit rough but is sound beneath all the grime. I need a seatpost...does anybody know the correct size? Nice tange cromo frame/forks and alivio/stx bits.

My first ‘proper’ mtb was a 1996 Scott Tampico. Too big for me, ‘upgraded’ everything - kinda wish I still had it, now. The frame almost certainly went in a skip after a year of hanging on my bedroom wall. Stolen then recovered.

Before it was recovered, I replaced with a 1998 Octane FX-2. That frame also went in a skip a few years later. Madness.

Earlier this year I picked this up - not sure why

would also LOVE an Octane DH (the one with two shocks) but they never seem to crop up. One appeared on Facebook this week but missing the second shock and linkage and from a slightly suspicious account…

I bought this beauty for cheap money the other day. Scott Summit 7005 Alloy Liteflite. But I can't find this Summit model in any of the old Scott catalogues online. What is it?

Love this thread! My humble contribution - '95. Windriver. Mostly stock. Picked it up just yesterday - still thinking on what to do with it first :)
