OK Pickle, here we go. LTS 4000. CroMo frame. RS Indy C fork, and a parts mix of whatever came on the bike plus some XT shifters/ brakes I had here.

A good choice for XC I feel. Shipping is something like $30 and they gave me the impression they will fiddle the value on the customs declaration to avoid tax.

How many different variations of the LTS and STS are there??

I know there is a clear difference between the standard and DH models, but just how many are there, are what are there intended useage?

Am I right in thinking the LTS was never intended to be a pure XC machine?

Hi Mr. Pickle, the shock on the back of mine just says 'Rock Shox deluxe shock'. Spring has 700 x 14 printed on it. This shock certainly isnt deluxe.... not sure if it cactus, but it feels as though your bouncing on one of those big reddish-brown balls that had horns for handles, and a face painted on them just like Lysanders avatar.
Perhaps 4" of travel just isnt for me!

Mine doesnt appear to have a brand on it, although I haven't looked that closely at it yet. However, it does have a small adjusting screw at the top.

Does anyone know what this is for?
