Seeing as I have a LTS fettish at the moment , and I know there are varying shapes and sizes of lovely LTS and STS machines on this site, show me your rides here please!!!

Apart from a 'What the hell shall I do with this bike that I just brought' and its own readers bike thread, there haven't been any other threads with it on!!! It may seem like it as I have updated the readers bike one regularly as the build has gone on.


This thread is because I want to look at other LTS's and STS's to see what people have done, and especially XC oriantated ones to see if there are any improvements I can (or should) make before MM.

Quick GT LTS question,

Is the frame on LTS 3 the same as the others but with a budget plastic rear shock? I guess what I am asking can you build a nice LTS using a 3 frame?

This should help you with specs etc, but the grades of aluminium do vary from frame to frame. But, yes, you could make a reasonable bike out of a 3.

This thread is going waaaaaayyyy OT in't it!! 
The bike is my RTS and that pic was taken at the Cannock Christmas Turkey ride, end of last year. Pickle decal is made using the proof Gil sent me, as he is making some white ones for the LTS 
I may try and drop it in my signature when I get a moment.......I'm now signing off to go on a ride

In the meantime, can we have some bikes on here please!!
