Show us your favourite scar!

On surgical basis I can only go 12" but it has been opened & closed three times - starts just below my rib cage and heads straight down, resection of large intestine and ileostomy.

I don't have any pictures, which is probably for the best. :D

I've got my fair share of scars most of them minor and one pretty decent one.

I used to ride motorcycle grasstrack and speedway between the ages of 10 and 17. I picked this one up not long after starting out on the grasstrack about a month before my 11th birthday.

Basically me and another kid tangled coming out of the corner, a very minor crash really. We both went down, he got up and back on his bike, I got up and fell over. I didn't know at the time but I'd clean broken my tibia and fibular and almost severed my leg. To this day I don't know the exact details of how this physically happened, I can only assume it went in the spokes.

Well enough detail, basically through a decent surgeon my leg is now fine but no looker to be honest. I've tried to capture it the best I can but not the best photos in unnatural light.

Please ignore my previous mention of my pathetic "scar".

Nothing I have ever done to myself or had done to me playing rugby, comes anywhere close to what I've seen on this thread.

I feel like a bit of a lightweight. Most of my stitches and injuries have involved drink.

Get the stitches out this one tomorrow morning.
