dug is a long wheel base jack russell. previous owner couldnt cope with his energy and complete lack of obedience (try exercising him  )
we have had him 18 months now and he has calmed down a lot and usually does what he is told.
milly is another russell cross. she was found running down the motorway near our house malnourished and with bloody paws. dont know her story but i get the impression someone at some point put a lot of effort into her. she understands orders but is still pretty disobedient - i am carefull where i let her run free. i think i am too soft on her because of her history.
she's not the prettiest of examples but she is usually pretty calm and very loving.
i hope the live forever because i dont think i could cope with losing them
