haggis--keen eye--yea the ring is toast--its my "climbing over logs and rocks" ring now--der adjusted so it wont even shift into it, just use two rings---ill take it off and move it over one bolthole to have fresh teeth to bite with
anthony--thanks for tange info--i used to have the other w-gripper but had to take it off when i sheared a knob off and exposed the cord-
