I've seen and read enough to know that when addressing the needs of their people i.e. shelter, food, transport etc green issues aren't high on the list of priorities. I think ultimately we'll learn and adapt to live on man made resources. We're already seeing lab grown meat. Fast forward a couple of hundred years and the phrase 'finite resources' might be redundant altogether. Of course I won't be here to see it, likewise the planet isn't going to implode in my lifetime either so it's difficult for me to get over excited either way.
