Should i leave my washing machine in the kitchen ?

Its disgusting I know, but I have no plumbing in the utility room

Saw it on the bbc, was having a talk at work (it was quiet)

I am going to get a water supply in the utility room, it will free up some space where the washing machine was - for a dishwasher.

I can then clean old bike parts

If you have the space move it to the utility room. Much better in there than the kitchen.

If your kitchen is somewhere where you spend time other than cooking, washing etc then banish the noisy rattling turbine thing elsewhere.

Myself, I have several large capacity washers at the launderette. I leave them going round and round whilst I sit in the bike boutique a few doors down, enjoying a cappuccino with cake and talking bikes with the owner whilst Trevor sits on my lap.
