Shipping frames in the uk. Who do we like?

Anyone move this to FAQ's so it's easier to find if I ever use this in the future ?

Hi,

I use a company called APC overnight. Next day garaunteed and reasonable price. I have used them loads of times and only let me down once,when they missed my pick up and the parcel took two days to arrive.
But they didn't charge me! Now thats service for ya.

I don't know if they a National or local, the depot closest to me is Redruth, Cornwall.

I use DHL via www.ppwexpress.com. It'll cost you £7 to post a frame on a 1 to 2 days service, or £7.50 for a 24 hour.

I had an issue where DHL failed to collect and ppwexpress were incredibly helpful - answered the phone immediately, rang me back, etc.

I asked them for a quote to ship a full bike, they just got back to me:
"Unfortunately we would not be able to carry this item as our maximum dimensions are 120x60x60cm."

under no circumstances parcel force! they lost me a complete bike!
