Firstly I might be doing a deal with someone else involving these cranks and secondly we've not agreed postage

Fair enough,but you cant stop somebody else buying them because you "may" want them No fair mate :roll:

Gotta disagree with you there mate,

have a scan through here and see how many times people ask for temporary dibs for whatever reason.

Obviously dibs are not enforceable but giving somebody who wants something time to get themselves sorted is generally accepted and a nice thing to do.

I didn't want indefinate dibs so that if sometime in the future I wanted some xtr cranks I would have a set standing buy

agreed, I request dibs, and am happy to give them when selling items. Ofcourse it is down to the seller how they want to sell but it is nice to let people sort out finances/check specifications etc before either buying something that isnt quite right for them, or missing out on an item they have been searching for just because they couldnt remember a minor detail about their required spec.
