Shimano XTR / DA mid-cage GS rear mech

I'm on the lookout for a quality mid-cage Shimano rear mech (probably Ultegra/XT/DA/XTR). It will be for 9-speed, condition not crucial as long as it's working without damage.

[Edit - I was hoping to save some weight over the long cage M952, though I've just realised that the Ultegra/XT GS models won't save that much at all. So it looks like I'm really looking for an XTR or Dura Ace, GS only]

Can swap (with/without more money in either direction) against a nice XTR M952 long cage if that helps.

Nice XT M739 mid cage (I think, well definitely not the standard long one) for £15 plus postage? Works fine with 9-speed.

Thanks for the replies so far - I was hoping that as I don't need the range of gears I could save some weight over my long cage M952 in the switch to GS. But I've just realised that the Ultegra/XT GS models won't save that much anyway, so it looks like I'm really looking for an XTR or Dura Ace, GS only please. ishaw's M972 is the best candidate so far in light of that, though with its fancy carbon place it's a pricey model!
