Shimano XT hubs on Mavic X517 citron rims (32H)

I have had these since 1998. They were built for me by Bromley Bikes, and have spent most of their time hung up in the garage. There is some wear to the brake surfaces, but plenty of life left in them still, and they have a pair of Tioga Factory XC 1.95 tyres, with plenty of life left in them.

Forks still available? Are they usable or need servicing?

Forks are still available and I don't they need servicing, that have always been regularly greased, so I believe them to be good to go.

I would like them. but i haven't sorted out my head set bearings and I don't know the steerer length I need. I get the frame back next week so will have to let you as soon as I have it back. I think it should be more then long enough for me.
