Shimano XT M730 Crankset

Those m730 crankset with the black non-biopace rings (SG), usually go over $50. But they can be had for less, or twice as much. m730 stuff on ebay is funny that way. It's on there often enough, and the prices are all over the place. Guess it just depends on who is looking at the time.

M730 cranks are some of the best out there, for look, durability, performance, and relatively light weight.

Were there ever any M732/735 cranks? I remember having one set of M730's that weighed quite a bit more than some others that I have had (M735?), but then again, maybe it just had steel chainrings...

GEmtb, you're right about the varying prices of M73* stuff. M900 prices on the other hand seem to experience less ups-and-downs as they are always more or less high

Yes, the m735 cranks were micro drive with a lower profile, narrower arms, and possibly lighter weight (possiblyyyy).
Yes, rings make a world of difference in weight, and so do bolts. Not that I'm into gram counting or anything.

Ok, so I wasn't imagining stuff after all.. :) Micro drive, hmm..must do a google search on that.

I guess ti bolts are in general the lightes ones?
