Shimano Stx mc 30.7 speed shifters Cable routing advice pls

Hi
I'm re cabling. My stx mc30 Rapid fire brake/shifter levers 7 speed
Anyone know how to replace gear cable?
I guess I will have to remove rear housing as there are no cable plugs
In them
Anyone have a link to shimano instructions ?
I don't want to remove covers and have springs and Pawls all over the floor if poss :facepalm:

but the lh shifter is to the smallest ring position and the rh shift is smallest ring position as well. and jiggle the inner cables back and forth and they should pop out of the hole in the shifter body.

Given them a full clean up while you are at it, I came across this looking for a diagram for you, probably better as you can see the insides and know not to be scared of the
Taking the shifter out to give it a degrease and lube. Well worth it as well as I do it to all shifters I get.
