shimano shifters and rapid rise rear mech

It's fine - I have rapid rise on two of my five bikes and can hop from one to other without any problems. Go for it!

Well if you're anything like me, all the time, I'm going to have two bike RR and all the others normal. I like a challenge!!!

Oh BTW there are no reverse shifters for RR mechs. Well off the shelf, maybe you could swap thumbies around or something crazy like that.

A shifter only pulls cable. Its allllll in the mech baby.

If you used a left hand thumbie on friction, rotated on the right for the rear mech then easiest and hardest would be the same position as for a normal mech and shifter. . . . mad I know
