i have decided to sell my retro SPDs they were the top of the range when I bought them and were part of both the XT and XTR group set, they are in totally excellent condition and the bearings are silky smooth, they are also boxed and come with the correct SH52 cleats (I might even have the instructions) I have been using these on my 96 model Trek 8000 but this has been semi retired as a hybrid soft off roader, my new full sus has the new XT trail pedals and these are just too good for the commuter. It was reading on the Internet horror stories that these are difficult to unclip from, but I can honestly say they are the best pedals I have owned, far better than most of the new offerings and just as good as the new XT offerings. I'm not sure if they are pre 97 as I had some lower spec ones to start with, so forgive me if this is the wrong forum. I'm asking £38 delivered but I'm open to offers. Will get some pics on if there is interest.
