Shimano 8 Speed Bar End Shifters

For sale here I have a lovely pair of Shimano 8 speed bar end shifters. Cosmetically very good, functionally perfect.
Great for touring bike or cyclo cross or if you are fed up of sticky shimano STI levers.
I have been using them in friction mode with a 9 speed, no worries.
Looking for £20 quid delivered.

Bit naughty that Dr Jo, as i was waitng a reply from the OP.(which he deleted before I had the chance to open it?)
I guess I should have conducted negotiations by pm rather than being open about it and postng on the thread!!!

I don't think that DrJo did any wrong: you maked an offer for 18 "or free bump", and he makes another one for the exactly amouth OP is asking for. Would be wrong action if you offer 20 and DrJo offered 25.

The bottom line is that you lost out on a perfectly good set of levers at an excellent price for the sake of haggling over £2. If you dibs an item the fair play on most forums is that you accept the OP price. There's a lesson here for you, if only you can see it.

As for accepting a higher offer - that's extremely disingenuous of you, he accepted the price asked for in the OP. I would certainly reject any snipe offer (especially over 2 measly quid ) in favour of the price asked for which was very fair, posted IMO.
