Hi
End of last year I bought an Ellis Briggs favori built in 1988 off the bay. When I went to collect it I was a bit surprised at the condition. The chap had the frame built by Briggs and then had them fit it out with a full Shimano 600 groupset. He had then ridden around 1500 miles on it and decided enough was enough and it had been left in the house garage till the day I collected it.Even the anodising is all intact on the rims. I opened the hubs up and the bottom bracket and clean grease and shiny bearings.Perfect. I have now rebuilt it with wider gear ratios e.t.c. and am offering some of the 600 groupset for sale.
There is
A. 600 chain set 52/42 170mm cranks.2 small scratches r/h crank and a mark to the edge of the left hand crank. All decals perfect as are threads and tapers.Teeth perfect and even has polished chrome dust caps. No heel rub whatsoever.
£46.00 posted
B.600 bottom bracket .68x113. The right length for the above chainset. No pitting and eveything shiny.Just a light grey track on the bearing surfaces.
£17.00 posted
C.600 short cage rear mech. No play anywhere. All original and as it should be
£22.00 posted
D.600 down tube gear levers.Small bubble to finish l/h lever otherwise perfect.obviously no slack or wear evident and a good positive click
£16.00 posted
E.600 Brakes. Front perfect. Rear looks like it has had a blob of mud or worse left on top of the chrome nut and it has gone through the chrome and caused a small patch of bubble in the finish.I am sure this could be sorted out without too much trouble. Please note that the blocks are original i.e. 25 years old so you may wish to change them

F Matching 600 levers. Some marks to the finish as can be seen in the photo but would touch in o.k .Hoods all good. Yet again no wear to pivots. These are aero style
