Shimano 600/dura ace Ax rear derailleur adjustment

Could anybody shed some light on this please as there seems scant information out there on how to set these up. Doesn’t seem to be an upper/lower limit screw. Anybody done it? Could you explain?
I have a new 600 rear derailleur and six speed 13-23 freewheel.

From memory there are two screws at the front that controls how far in and how far out the jockey wheels go…… and that’s it

Mind you, my memory is a bit suspect

They aren’t high and low limit screws though. The left one supposedly alters between 5, 6 and 7 speed but hard to tell how. The right one doesn’t seem to do a lot! I havent connected it all up yet so will have a further play today.
