they had a "thingy" on the seat tube with a little wheel. there is one here

Tempting as it is, after a quick rummage I think I have pretty much all I need to get rolling for now and I just accidentally splurged on some hubs as you do!

Can't believe no one's jumped in on this already, looks a nice little bargain to me...
