Retro Guru
Fully original and complete Shimano 105 1055/1056 groupset in VGC. All date stamped V for 1997. Chainset is 52/42, 175mm crank arms. Threads and tapers all good, rings have plenty of life left in them.
8-speed STIs are pretty clean and fully functional. Hoods are fully intact and not tacky. Just some superficial scuffs at the top of the RH lever as seen in the photos.
1056 rear mech is the long cage version. Bushing and springs in good order, no stiffness or play. Original pulleys haven’t had much wear. All screws turn.
Front mech is braze-on and is in excellent order. All pivots and springs good.
Brake calipers are rock solid and smooth. Front has original pads with about half wear left in them. Rear has Jagwire pads with more than 50% wear left. Overall a really tidy late-90s groupset. £85 posted in the UK.
