Shifters in frames - might go cheap

This chap has a few sets of shifters in the frames section:

Shimano

Nothing fancy but might go cheap.

Was going to buy the Shimanos and sell them on to you suckers, but my card is taking strain

Daft question. Could you fit 24 speed shifters to 21 speed bike?

you could tom ,but not advisable as you would have an extra click ,and the shifter attemting to pull the derailleur further than the limiting screws are set or making the chain come off one way or other, also the spacing is different on 7 and 8 speed cassettes, so would take a lot of farting about getting it to run sweet
really you want your shifters to have the same number of clicks as there are cogs on your rear wheel.
makes life simpler,

but there are guys on here who would be able to tel lyou how to do it and give a better answer than me
