However, the original paint seems in good condition so I wouldn't touch it

They are on eBay don't think I will go for them though.

I get what you are saying. Respray same colour then and maybe rear stays blue :?

They're nice but apparently servicing them isn't easy and parts aren't readily available

4 pages on frame colour! must be some kind of record.

for what my opinion is worth, you already have a very cool custom sex. why not keep this one a sympathetic, original or at least period build?

keep the colours standard and possibly touch up what you have rather than a full strip and paint. i think in the long run the original frames are going be be far more desired than the repainted ones.

if you do go for blue then please dont match the fork to the rear end. nothing screams BSO more than a full bounce bike with matching colours on the fork and back end! (of course there are exceptions...)

JUST THOUGHT - THAT IS ASSUMING THIS IS ORIGINAL PAINT!
