Setting up Canti brakes

I actually did think all canti brakes had same level force, but reading they don't I will probably have low brake power whit current levels if I switch to the road bike canti's I bought that are the type that stick out 90 degrees?

Can anyone show me (video/pictures/step by step) how to install canti Brake Cables ? I can install Hydro Rims and V's but with Canti's I'm all confused as to how to set the cable up through the cable hanger - which cable to use etc? What length to keep them etc?
And the Straddle wire too - but first I want to get the cable to it!

I have Paul Neo r5etro's and levers.
