Why do people do that? Was going to pop across to e-bay and hit the BIN and some tool has put a bid in. idiots.

That is the way Ebay works.

If the seller was happy with £40 then hopefully he will end up getting at least that.

Why not put your bids in at the price you feel they are worth and quit whining?

I asked if he would accept the original BIN, he says it was a mistake and should have been £70, which he would accept. Wonder if he bid to take out the BIN? Why not just edit the listing?
 
Mmmmm. £70 gets you a nice set of new disc brakes from some of the online retailers. :)

I was being tongue in cheek, it is a pisser when you don't bite at a BIN immediately and you go back and it is gone. :)
