Servicing a Delta V shock

The shock on the Delta V I recently picked up requires some attention. I was hoping to strip it down, look helplessly at the parts and then rebuild it (hopefully like it used to be) and that it would then work like a good 'un!

The symptoms prior to me removing it from the bike were that it creaked and groaned a lot, and seemed to pogo, having very little damping.

So.......does anyone know what I need to do?

Anyone???

Alternatively, does anyone know:

1) Where I could take it to get it serviced? Spoke to my local Cannondale dealer today, but they didn't seem too reassuring that they could help!

2) Where I could buy an alternative shock, and recommend one that would suit the bike?

Cheers!

cannondale have been bust at least once since they built the delta v, so the likelyhood of any knowledge remaining even at HQ is slim

Risse Racing would be able to produce an airshock with an offset i2i. If not Risse, Stratos USA is still doing short travel shocks.
