Ouch that's expensive. My only suggestion would be parcel monkey site. Or take it to the post office boxed up and get a quote.
The last bike I sent overseas I was getting quotes online of the amount you are getting now.
But when I finally took it to the post office and sent it cheapest possible with parcelforce it ended up costing just under £75 less than online quotes.
