Sending a complete bike UK to Denmark,are couriers better than PO

Locality too me we have a shipping company they deals with all the various couriers (dhl, fed ex etc etc)
I have sent parts and frames to Europe and a frame too Finland at less than half the cost of Royal Mail

definitely worth asking around.
