Selling up and leaving the hobby - Your failure experiences?

To update this slightly to where I'm at currently.

Ive not sold anything , but i have stopped myself buying several things I would like.

I've been doing a little more messing around with specs again on full bikes trying to reignite the spark. Ive also been doing a little bit with Instagram again which has gone well (110k views in last 30 days)

Im hoping that my next project comes back from paint soon, as that may help too.
I reached the top when I finished my Lightning a few months ago. At that point I had 10 or so other frames I wanted to build, piles of forks, wheels etc, all waiting, constantly looking for bits or bikes to get the bits for them. I finished the GT after amassing the parts for almost 10 years. I rode it once off road in June and it was one of the worst rides of my life. Now it hangs on my garage wall still covered in the same dirt and while I don't seek to sell it, I have no attachment to it at all. After all that, I'm now accepting that this may be the time to focus more on less, rather than less on more.
