Not happy doing it though. Bought this on eBay last year with every intention of rebuilding it. Never had time and recently bought the deKerf, making storage space an issue. So...I will have to sacrifice this.
Its a 1994 Somerville built frame, size medium. Generally cosmetically in good shape although there are some gouges in the top tube (see pic) in addition to the usual scratches and scuffs. No rust though as far as I can see. Also, the original owner has placed some extra "decals" on the seattube....this may or may not add to the charm of the bike. I was going to refinish and repaint it, but I suppose it could be left as is as the gouges are quite superficial and don't think weakens the integrity of the frame.

Hardware that came with it:
1. Deore front mech
2. ESP 9 speed rear mech (OK shape)
3. Grip shifts (natty, probably not worth the postage)
4. Avid brake levers..decent
5. Titec riser bars in good shape.
6. CBR cranks in excellent shape physically, decent shape cosmetically.
7. CK hubs (red front, gold rear) with ?salsa "rasta" coloured skewers laced onto unidentified rims that appear to spin nicely. Excellent shape.
8. Syncros seatpost (30.9mm) in excellent shape but the logo has been rubbed off; I purchased a matching purplish min Viscount seat to go with it.
9. Unknown canti brakes...hope someone can ID them.
10 Marzocchi Z2 bombers in great shape.
11. No Logo CK 1" black headset
12. No name seat collar
13. Specialized ahead type riser stem - good shape.

Hoping only to get back what I paid, which is $600 US; I will eat the 100 dollar processing fee that @#%! UPS charged to ship it to me from California. Shipping to you will be at cost with a mutually agreed upon carrier; I will pack it professionally.

Ideally would like to sell the whole thing as one but will break if there is no interest in the lot. Also, I will throw in a complete set of nice new high quality vinyl decals from velocals.com that I was going to apply after I had repainted it.

I have some NIB parts that I bought on the fleabay to replace the nattier of the original bits. I can let these go too since I will have no need for them if the bike goes:

1. SRAM X.9 front mech
2. Avid Speeddial Ti canti brake levers
3. SRAM X.9 gripshifts
4. NOS Syncros black 5 degree bar

Email or PM me if you want these as well and I can set a price; otherwise I will sell them separately.

I really really REALLY want a Yo Eddy.. and I'm moving to Canada soon..

It's a big place I know but where abouts are you?

Owen

Vancouver of course! Well Coquitlam area specifically. Lived in Whistler for two years till I broke my back last August and got shipped back here to get fixed. But I have a new job in Van so as soon as the paperwork arrives I'm heading back! :D

This is freaky though, I've always said the 'retro' project I must do is a Yo Eddy, my unicorn if you will. I have been saying I'll start the search as soon as I get back over there.. then this pops up! I'm soooo tempted bud!

Owen:

If you want it I can hold it for you if you're coming anytime soon. its not doing anything bad other than taking up room in the shed...

Hopefully you'll sell the bike complete but just in case i'd be interested in the cooks cranks should it ever come to a split :D .

Thanks.
Dave.
