Seized screw in GT 2x4 forks, advice requested.

I take it you don't like the shop?

Vernon himself was a decent painter and aluminium welder. (Not Ti)

But I’ve heard so many bad stories about the ones who took it over. Wouldn’t trust them to do this delicate job.

Personally I’d leave it too. As the likely outcome is that it gets damaged.

Thanks @d8mok, that is settled then! ;)

Hello all.

I have just received a couple of parts today, getting closer to the complete collection of parts for this build.
Today I got a 135mm GT Flipflop stem and a GT True Temper seatpost, which according to the seller came off a 1991 Zaskar...
Yesterday I received a set of Shimano XT pedals, courtesy of @raidan73, a big thank you for a fast dispatch of all items I bought of you so far!
I have yet to make a start on polishing the frame and painting the forks, a job I am considering tackling myself as I would like a challenge.
Expect a build thread on this soon..

Still waiting for a bottom bracket to be delivered, other than that I am still on the look out for a decent set of Shimano XT wheels and last but not least, a full set of cables.
I have yet to decide whether I want coloured cables or plain black, decisions, decisions....
