Jesting, they're fine! Nice bit of stretch, just make sure you always check the pressures and keep em well above 30PSI

seeriously jon, dont be scarred. bmw m3's and porsche 911's have slight stretch straight from the factory, just like your car.


you know sometimes you go to you your car and a tyre looks a little low on pressure and you think to yourself "it'll be alright, i'll stick some in tomorrow..."

well instead of that you need to think, "that tyre looks soft, i better put aur in it!

your tyres will only off if you go flying round a corner with 15 psi in.

stop panicking!!

Don't worry about it, so many people do the same thing with no probs. Quite common on the continent where small wide rims are the way to go rather than here where 19" low profile norm in general.

Back to the tyres thing. To me "stretch" just looks crap - like you couldn't afford to buy the right size tyres for the rims.

i can understand. the main reason it is done in "euro" circles is its often the only way to get big wheels under the arches. it usually makes for a more stable tyre as there is zero flex in the side wall. that's the theory behind drift cars having stretched rears.
