Seatpost stuck in a YETI frame

get a hacksaw that holds the blade at one end only, then "carefully" saw down the tube... "CAREFULLY" . when you are throught the seatpost use a set of plyers to crush the tube in on its self and pull out.

Thats exactly what I did to my old Yeti Ultimate that had a stuck seatpost. Took about 5-6 hours to go through a chopped off Suntour XC-pro seatpost with just a hacksaw blade.

I have also heard that you can remove the bottom bracket, turn bike upside down and pour Coca Cola through the BB-shell. Let the bike rest for 24 hours and the Coca Cola will melt through the sticky material between seatpost and seattube.

I tried that one on my Orange. All I got was a sticky seat tube and a stiff headset where some of the coke ran down the down tube by accident :(

I was thinking the same, but its a hell of time to do it. I've had a stuck seatpost in my Kona steel frame, and i've drilled it out using a 27,0mm drill and a low speed on a lathe, about 20min and done. I've holded the frame in bare hands and pushed it gently to the drill, then pulled aside and remove the aluminium stripes from seatpost and do the whole thing again.

When you've had a really stuck seatpost, this method doesn't work.

Cheers
