Thanks, I'll make a coke can shim as well, but make it the full length of the post inside the frame so there's no slop at all.

The early quantum seat bolt lug was well known for cracking even with the right seatpost
Given how rare and desirable the frame is I would suggest you do it properly
Of course you might get away with it
But you might not
