seatpost size for 1994 ZaskarLE?

is it a 27mm? i have a later Zaskar and that is 27.2 but the older one i have just measured with a micrometer and it comes in at 27mm.
so is it 27 or has the top of the seatube squashed?

My '93 is 27.0mm if thats any help?

it looks like the "older" GT frames were 27mm,and when the frame design was changed(96?) the seatpost went to 27.2mm.
anyone else can give any info?

I had a 1994 Zasker (not LE though), and it was also 27.0.

looks like 27 is the way to go.

just seen a 27 seatpost for sale so off to the adverts i go!
