Seatpost 27mm ?

Hi
looking to source a seatpost for a Carlton frame I am putting back on the road. Tried a 27.2mm seatpost, but that will only go in if I use the 'persuader'. Measuring with a vernier gives a 27mm bore to the seat tube - anyone advise if that sounds about right ?

What do you have that would fit ?

sounds about right to me.. 531 came in all sorts of sizes from what I've seen. most common is 27.2 but they're are other sizes too. 26.8 27.0 etc

Ive got a 27.0mm seat post, ill put up a pic in a mo.

Very good condition, only inserted into a seat tube, never really ridden.

Only significant scratches are below the minimum insert line.



Asking for £60 + £7 P&P but will accept a reasonable offer.
