Seat Bolt

I need a seat bolt for my 753 frame;

size M6 X 26 allen bolt.

Can anyone tell me where I might acquire such a bolt ?

Out of interest; IF I happened to be offered a bolt in a choice of materials such as Steel, stainless steel, titanium etc., etc.,
are there any materials that perform the task better than others ? Are there any materials (for such a purpose) to avoid ?

Personally I'd use a stainless one, with tons of copaslip on it. You should be able to get one of these from any marine chandler's.

Alu and Ti are too fragile in my view. Alu just snaps, and Ti has a nasty habit of galling. I would want something to secure tightly and forget.

stick with steel, be it stainless or not as the others can be prone to galvanic welding and if that happens to an alu bolt in that steel frame you ain't getting it out in any way.

Might have a steel one you can have. I'll have to check the size but it is out of a scrapped Gazelle 531 so should be the same...
