Biggest load of shit i have ever bought , just woren them for my first ride and they were toasty for the first 2 hours and then it was downhill , lost all feeling in my feet and when i took them off psot ride they were full of water ......reckon i would of been better off with just normal merino socks !!!!!

waterproof socks are all very well, but you need waterproof trousers over the top else water just goes down your shins into them. I wore sealskinz at the Wobble this year (with waterproof trousers) and my feet were completely dry.

another thing - don't do up your shoes tightly when it's cold - it prevents circulation (even more than the cold does)! They should be a rel;atively loose fit. I buy winter boots 2 sizes bigger than my actual for this reason - it allows for thicker (waterproof :P) socks and a loose fit.

I tried neoprene overboots, but found them impractical for offroad use as your feet are on the ground a lot and they just got shredded :(

I've had mine for a couple of years and they're fine -seem totally waterproof... Did you buy them recently? if so, send 'em back!
They're not that warm though and feel a bit baggy and stiff, so I tend to wear thin sock with 'em.

I got mine for the Wobble , Liner and high vis ones

Wore 3/4`s , wet feet yep , But expected as wearing 3/4`s but still well warm and toasty.

Worn them since and think there great.

I did get some allweather gloves at the same time, they were wet through by the time we left the carpark at the wobble, Sent them back they returned me some new ones 2 days later and admitted they were faulty.

Well i was waering shorts so i am guessing water ran down the inside and gathered around the toes , when i got home i poured water out of them ....reckon i will be better off with merino wool socks because at least they will get a change to dry out !

Water runs down your legs and slowly fills them up. Personally I don't mind, as it's warm water inside them.

If you wear full leg cover then it doesn't seem such a problem with them filling.

Personally I think they are great, but you DO need to wear looser shoes to keep warm.

I bought a pair and one of them leaked around the toes on the first ride. They are hit and miss- out of the three pairs I have 2 of them leak.
