Sealed cartridge bottom brackets compatibility

Does anybody know if these newfangled sealed cartridge bottom brackets screw into our old steel frames? I'm not planning to do it to an old Raleigh or Peugeot, but maybe for an upgrade to an old Viscount or a future project. This would be the sort of fella I'm thinking of:

The easy part is measuring BB shell width and required axle lengths.

The hard part is making sure that the cartridge BB available has the thread pattern to match the frame.

easy if you have a confirmed English threaded frame, trickier once you move into French or Italian thread.

I have a late 70s frame with a fairly recent UN52 fitted and all is well, and I always fit cartridge BBs when refurbing frames as they are just about fit and forget.

I see, thanks for that LGF. So a bit of careful measuring and it could be good to go. I like the idea of fit and forget. The more worn of my fleet doesn't do many miles now before it needs a tweak, so it's tempting to ditch the old style bearings.

I'm sure one of my 7 bikes will fit one then

The above link is pretty useful in regard to BB type, size and so on - will be useful if you can still see the thread / measurements on the unit to be replaced.
