Hi, I bought the bike from a bike-fanatic friend of mine who was moving back to New Zealand around 1999. I rode it from then till about 2004 when it went into storage. I can't make out the model no. I'm afraid, sorry.

I suppose it could be that it's rusty and he doesn't know it, but it seems a fairly genuine auction to me. Fingers crossed anyway!

yeah seems like a real nice fella, just worried after kane's pinprick holes and cracks- seems to have a bad rep. on here but not sure if it is warranted, did orange not bring out a prestige in 2008 albeit a different frame geo. but same tubes non?
