Absolutely pre 1991. From 1991 on there were no U brakes anymore on Scott bikes.

It´s 1990. 95% sure. When I bought mine in 1991, a friends´ wife had this one from 1990.

I think it’s a 1992 as that jagged top tube decal was a feature in 92
