Scott Unishock fork. Ends Weds.

Nope.
The carbon was the reason for the recall. He says on the auction.
He thought his were fine and didn't send his back.

These things used to un-bond for a pass-time. My old ones (not carbon) came unglued at the brace – I've heard of others going on the dropouts too.

Really quite a basic fork all told – just a full-length nylon tube that the stantions slid in for stiction damping and, in the case of mine, steel springs or elastomers (which will probably be shot by now to be honest)

My Rocky Team Comp came with them as standard, but the pristine Team Comp I picked up last year had them replaced under warranty with Project 2s.

i have a set of carbon ones, a bit corroded around the alu, but seem sound, but i aint going ot be using them in any hurry, have used the all alu ones before with no worries, and have a set also

BITD I re-glued my forks with araldite (ah… the confidence of youth), rode on them like that for many years, never suffered again :D

Moth balled them in the end 'cause the stantions started to get pitted on the chrome.

Hopefully these will be OK (I won them), because they're destined for the Rocky once again
